How to Brighten Up Your Bathroom

Let’s admit the fact that the bathroom can be one of the most visited (and important) places in your home. And there’s no doubt how a brightened bathroom will change the way you view yourself and your home as well.

So here is a list of tips that will brighten your bathroom:

Tip #1: The Walls

While a simple paint job might do the trick by choosing your favorite bright colors, another way which will help you do the same is by tiling the walls with colors that are bright and that you fancy.

Tip #2: Change the Lighting

Matching the lighting of your bathroom with the tiles and wall paint is an excellent idea because it adds a fresh to the bathroom like never before. Of course, ensure that you don’t use lights that are too bright as this may hurt your eyes.

Tip #3: Waterproof seals should be replaced

Since the emphasis is on the new and not the old, there’s no doubt that another tip would involve the removal of water seals in your bath and sink as they would lose their color and collect mould as well. While you can simply replace them, another thing to do is scrub these seals with a little bleach.

Tip #4: New towels

While most of us use old, dirty and discolored towels, it is important to replace them with new ones now and again, and before you know it, you bathroom will look spick and span.
