The City of Grande Prairie is considering plans for a community garden to begin next year. The initiative started as a suggestion by a member of the public last March, and since that time the city has been looking into possible locations for the garden and how it could be used by the public.

A private garden in Redding known as the Marocco Garden at 73 Diamond Hill Road will be open to the public on Sunday, July 18, from 10 to 4. The garden is one of many open to the public during The Garden Conservancy’s Open Days Program.
