Garden City Muslims Seek Section Of Cemetery

The Garden City Telegram reports that several leaders from Burmese, Somali and Ethiopian communities presented a letter to City Commissioner Nancy Harness requesting a section be set aside in the city cemetery.

Garden club awards scholarships

The Grayslake Greenery Garden Club has announced the recipients of $500 college scholarships. Austin Haskett has been a Lake County resident all his life. He lives in Gurnee and was graduated this year from Warren Township High School.
