But for five days a year, the Beirut Hippodrome offers gardeners and nature lovers a chance to stretch their legs and learn about the latest ecotourism companies, horticulture and pruning techniques. The Ronald McDonald House of Birmingham will host a dedication of a new Butterfly Garden on August 4th at 4 p.m. in its courtyard in memory of Lorayne Cooper, wife of Max Cooper, co-founder of the house.
